Screen protector or not?

I bought a 2nd hand ROG Ally Z1 Extreme and the screen seems to be slightly raised (higher than the shell) and I don't know if it already has some kind of screen protector or tempered glass. Sorry for the low-quality photo.

PS: I asked the seller and he's not sure as well.
