Nowhere to Run handpainted border extension finished!
Recently finished this handpainted border extension to a two part commission. It was a blast working on the two cards, sunch a fun challenge, particularly the tiny bottles 😊😆

Hullo! I've been wanting to execute this idea for a while and I'm really happy with the end result 😊 I'm thinking Jake, or maybe Marceline or Bubblegum after, not sure yet about the card, though... 🤔 Anyway, I really had a blast with this one! Onto the next! XD
Just finished this Adventure time lil fun side project I've had in my mind for a while 😊 I hope a get to do a few more related cards, so the brain juices are pumping!
Teeny tiny textures exercise on this one xD
Just finished with this border extension for a client, now onto the next! Didnt expect for the wood matching to be so finicky, but I'm really happy with it in the end. 😆
Fought tooth and nail with those boards (pun intended).
Another one for sale, this time a border extension. Really, really happy with the blend on this one. It took some time but we got there in the end! 😆 Easily my favourite Splinter art out of all of them. Had tons of fun with the sword and arm.
I've been having an issue when I varnish some cards (particularly those containing dark colors and the like). Basically the color on the paint shifts when I matt varnish them (wich I find interesting cause normally it happens when I use matt varnish and the darker paint satins then, which feels incredibly counterintuitive to me).
I normally get the colouring under control with an airbrush and different varnishes to blend the finish to my liking, but it is quite time consuming 😅 Anyone knows why this happens or/and any ways to avoid it?
Thanks a ton in advance. I've been using citadel's matt varnish so far normally with great results, but one out of ten times this happens and I am truly at a loss here 🫠
Thanks in advance for any insight and observations on the topic! 🤗
Another one for my friend's bat themed deck. Loads of back and forth with the tiny blood vessels but we got there in the end! I'm starting to feel like a bat wings connoisseur at this point 😅 Nearly forgot to detail the axe/mace at the back cause I was so hyperfixated on the wings.
Alter of Sage's Noulith's in spanish FOR SALE. If anyone is interested please DM! 😆
Loved working on those swirly sparks! Final Fantasy cards are always a blast to work on.
Redid this one for a comission! I've got an aquired taste for bat wings now 😆
