EDIT: We decided to do two days :), Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom and the other day Epcot and Hollywood Studios
Hello! I impulsively bought Disney World tickets for my fiancés birthday for the first weekend of June. The plan was for just one day and specifically Epcot but the more we think about the more we wanna buy park hopper and attempt all 4 parks in some compacity (and we don’t know the next time we’ll be able to with how prices of flights are looking at the moment). Some background we’re two young adults, we literally went to Disneyland for a day not even 2 weeks ago (my first time and he grew up going there alot as a kid). So my though process is when we were in Disneyland we did ALOT of the big hitters pretty much every staple (with MLL and SLL) so comparing the two parks, we don’t care to see a majority of Hollywood studios since Galaxy’s Edge is a carbon copy of DL, plus we also did Mickeys and Minnie’s which is also there. Only think we care about in HS is Tower of Terror and Toy Storyland. When is comes to Magic Kingdom from what I can tell it just has the same general vibe as DL, we really only care about seeing the castle and the two SLL rides. Epcot and Animal Kingdom are the only two that are solely unique imo and what we mainly want to focus on. We also have our own car to drive and park so we were gonna park in Hollywood Studios and enter Epcot through the International Gateway, leave, park at Animal Kingdom, leave, Park at Magic Kingdom (since I learned we only need to pay once). I know WDW has free transportation but I feel like having a car is more freedom and not having to wait for said transport and if you’re late to one then it just adds more time etc etc. So this is what I have written down:
**Start with Epcot**
• Book Single Lane Guardians (early as possible)
• Book 2 Multilane Passes with, Frozen(#1 Prio), Remy, Test Track, Soarin, Living with the Land
• After scanning into Frozen, book any listed above if failed.
• Vibe through World Showcase and buy drinks on the way to other rides. (based off time)
• Scan in next ride then check Hollywood Studios for Tower of Terror or Slinky Dog
• Aim to leave Epcot around 12-1pm maybe?
• Take Skyglider or Walk to Hollywood Studios
**Hollywood Studios**
• Tower of Terror asap (stand by or LL idc birthday boy needs this)
• Walk through Toy Story Land and pray we have LL for Slinky near this time.
• Only here for two rides so walk around I guess
• Next LL from here Everest or Na'vi
• Leave for Animal Kingdom around 4pm-ish
**Animal Kingdom**
• LLs if we have em, during this time tho stand by lines are suppose to be much shorter.
• Na'vi Journey and Everest prio.
• Flight if doable not that important.
• LL Magic Kingdom rides we want to do.
• Leave Animal Kingdom at 6pm (close)
**Magic Kingdom**
• SLL Tron at night I'm assuming (If sold out, Snow White, if that sold out uh <:Shruge:1010913657456164885> I'll book Flight for Animal Kingdom time)
• LL Whatever we want pretty much, park is almost the same.
• Walk around and vibe.
I know it’s like bare bones but we’re not looking to EVERYTHING at every park, and we’re skipping what people consider major things since they were just at Disneyland (ie galaxy’s edge, M&MR, any same lands/rides at MK.) I know MK and DL is not exactly the same but we’re just down to look at the different layout/buildings/vibes.
We are also whaling for MLL and the 2 SLL. We CAN add a 2nd day but I would like to avoid it since it’s like 600$ extra and he wants to explore Florida since he’s never been and has only lived on the west coast for his whole life.
TLDR we only care about seeing what makes WDW different than DL
edit: I also forgot to say we’re staying off property ( I know about the 30min early thing with resorts but those prices for 1 day is insane)
Any tips would be great. :)
