Hello everyone.
I am currently working on a group project, for which I need some community interaction and would highly appreciate it if you guys could help me out.
So, we are working on a project focused on driver safety and keeping drivers alert at all times.
For this, we came up with four ideas. Can you guys tell me which one you would like to use/ interested in and why?
Also, I would like to get any feedback on how I can improve this.
Anyways, here are the options and their working: -
1. Augmented Windshield
It is similar to a Heads Up Display and projects driving activities onto the windshields, and can adjust windshield opacity.
2. Alert System
It is a device that can be attached to the steering wheel that gives quick feedback through systematic vibrations.
3. Monitor System
It is a device with preloaded traffic data (like best routes, traffic volume), which will monitor the vehicle continuously (use the sensors and camera installed and collect data) (basically an internal dash-cam) and allow the user to change vehicle settings (change screen brightness, LED brightness, sound volume, etc).
4. Driving Application
It is a device placed on the steering wheel that uses detection technology to discern the driver’s braking, gas and steering habits and deducts points from the overall driving score in case of reckless driving. (Used more for learner training)
