What’s going with my melons?

I have 2 dozen melons all with more or less the same light, soil, water, and airflow. I may have overwatered the last watering, let them sit too long in the soak tray. There’s a few fungus gnats but not a lot. Other than that…is this a too much/little water/light reaction or early contagious fungus/bacteria?

A few melons very yellow but not dry/limp. They are a variety of yellow water melon.

Then theres a few that have section of leaves getting dry and papery

Currently letting them all get proper dry to knock out the flies, and then watering properly.

I have 48 tomatoes all receiving basically the same soil, light, water, and air. They get rotated so none of them are stuck in the corner wall or the outer shelf edge the whole time. Everyone is fine except this one. Thoughts? Stem is still firm but she’s just been droopy leafed for some days now.
