Respect All Ordres
Martinism has flowered into many legitimate lineages and initiatic bodies since first being created. This is not a place to argue that one ordre is more authentic, more valid, or more worthy than another. Martinism has a long history of mutual respect and recognition between ordres. Whether you work within a known order — or practice as a Free Initiator — you’re welcome here. While you may respectfully talk about how you believe your ordre differs from another, please keep it civil and leave your ordre rivalries at the door.
Respect All Christian Paths
Martinism has historically drawn from Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, and Gnostic traditions alike, as well as those who approach Christianity more mystically or philosophically. No one's denomination or expression of Christian faith is superior here. We are all united by the inner path, not by which church we attend.
Be Curious
Many who join here are not already Martinists. This is a great place to ask general questions and help locate a Martinist Temple/Heptad/Circle etc near you. Remember, there is no best ordre, only what is best for YOU (ie: location, approach, focus, etc…). There’s plenty that can be discussed openly. Those who are Martinists will also know the bounds of what should and shouldn’t be discussed publicly.
