The Pikmin Farm movie absolutely sucked
This movie was NOT what George Borbwell envisioned for the story. All the humor was unfunny fart jokes, millennial humor, or mimicked r/pikmin humor that never lands. Old major (played by Don Bergman) didn’t even die, he just got sent to the onion. All the dark moments in the movie were changed to be more kid friendly. They changed alcohol to Louie cum, all pikmin that were supposed to be killed instead got banished to the shame box, and Napikmin instead of acting like a Stalinist was more akin to a greedy tech company millionaire. They just added random scenes that don’t do anything for the plot and only bloat the run time like the scene where Olimar collapses the cartel. Seth Rogen made Napikmin insufferable to listen to. Pikminism wasn’t mentioned once throughout the entire movie as if they were afraid of exposing it to the young kids watching. It was weird when they brought captain falcon to foreshadow more characters appearing the the smash bros movie, and it just felt out of place and last minute. When the mockiwis smashed the eggs out of protest, Napikmin decided to say “Pikmin jockey” to ride off the success of the pikcraft movie. I thought it was cringe, but unfortunately the rest of the theater didn’t. I thought everyone ran out of supplies after the last Pikmin jockey incident, but I was wrong. Everyone started throwing their popcorn at me, a group duct taped a theater worker to the walls, and someone with a suicide vest blew up the projector (at least we didn’t have to see the rest of the movie).
This was a horrible experience and I never want to watch a movie in the cinemas again.
