[NY] Manager Doesn't Post My Schedule But Says I'm Still Required to Come To Work

I will start by saying we are part of a union. So we bid for our schedules in advanced and will last aprox. 3 months.

I recently transferred to a NY location. I have my bid schedule, which is suppose to be 5 days/8 hours and 2 consecutive days off. Our schedules are posted in an online app.

Ever since I transffered, they split my days off and they don't post my schedule. Last week when this happened, I simply didn't show up. They blew up my phone, asking where I was at. I told them that I wasn't given a schedule and if I don't have a schedule, I'm not coming in. They said they told me my schedule, so therefore I'm required to come in. I responded and said "If its not in the app, then I'm not scheduled to work". They instantly posted it and gave me 1 hour to arrive to work.

I still don't have a schedule for next week. No, I haven't asked them yet because they know they're suppose to give me my schedule and post it to the app. I'm not going out of my way to do their job.

If I decide not to show up again because they have't officially posted my schedule, and they reprimand me, do I have any recourse?

My boss is an alcoholic and now sure what to do

I was hired by a client in September 2024 and everything has been going great. I set my own pace, my own schedule, I can work remote whenever, and I work directly with the CEO (my boss).

About 6 months in, I started seeing a pattern. He loves bringing in a fresh bottles of wine and getting the office drunk. This happens a few times per month on a Tuesday afternoon or some random day that isn't Friday.

Today, I walk in the office around 3pm and of course everybody is drunk and my boss is literally struggling to stand up and is sluring his words. I'm not much of a drinker but I am very much 420 friendly, but never come to work under the influence. I play it off as if I don't notice whats going on. But at this point, its starting to get really annoying. I actually had some stuff to talk about with him and decided not to for obvious reasons.

How do you handle this?
