Please fix my English!Today's diary

(Day 2)
Today I felt drained during work hours. Maybe the hot weather made me more tired today. In the morning I worked hard then I met my friend to have a lunch outside. We ate salad in 'Salady' and I could hear a lot of secret story about my company. In the evening, I cooked tomato pasta with cheese bomb to give myself some energy. Fortunately, tomorrow is friday and I really look forward weekends.

Is it OK to use "otherwise" in these ways?

  1. We should depart right now, otherwise we might miss their first stage.

  2. The CEO is kind and generous in fact, but a large number of people in our team think about him otherwise.

  3. There are some corrections, otherwise you did a good job for the most part.

  4. I had to stop being nervous. Otherwise, I would ruin my exam.

  5. I have a lot of major exams on weekends what would have otherwise been a wonderful week.

When do I have to pronounce the as [ði]?

When should it be pronounced [ði]?
I remember someone pronouncing the as [ðə] instead of [ði] in this example: the one that came out a few years ago.

Day 1

It was a nice weather today so I felt more psyched than yesterday. Maybe most people including me think that weather determines their mood. Honestly, I was having trouble getting started to learn English until last week. And I watched a youtube video by chance which said "Just start/Just do it" when you have a trouble getting started something. Then I decided to practice speaking and writing in English as much as I can do. I really look forward a new chapter of my English.
