Content Matches, Takedown Requests, & Gaming Content

Been asked before, but many of the posts I found were either 5+ years old or didn't have clear answers.

I make video game journalism content (reviews and news coverage) and 90% of the time, I use my own recorded content, and the other 10%, I use official clips from the first-party source (developer, publisher, etc). My videos are all simply footage with a VO–I don't edit the footage at all aside from cuts.

I recently checked the "Content detection" section in YouTube Studio and found that there were over 100 videos listed that had at least a 60% match to my content, and the majority of them were my exact footage with the audio muted and their own VOs added, with no visual editing of any kind. They were all mostly from different channels, and many of them were in languages other than English so I wasn't able to tell if it was translations or just a brand new VO.

In any case, with gaming content, am I being fair if I send removal requests? Typically I would just go with it without asking since they're essentially re-uploads, but am I still in the clear if its gaming content, since I technically don't claim ownership of the games, or is it viewed in a way where the edit is what I own?
