As a lifelong snacker , tell me why we don't need to snack between meals and the benefits of not snacking.

Give me some encouragement lol. If you completely cut out all snacking and just eat your OMAD or just your normal meals and don't do ANY snacking at all between meals.

What are the benefits? Why do most people become addicted to snacking and why should we stop?

Have you cut out snacking in between meals and what are the benefits?

Just wondering.... I dont need to snack. I just have gotten into the habit of snacking and thinking I need to snack. Wondering if snacking is causing my slightly sluggish digestion.

What are the benefits of not snacking between your main meals?

Am I allowing extra pollution in my car by not using the recirculate air button in traffic?

Was reading an article basically saying you should use your recirculation button or "recirculate air" button in your car more often. Because it can help prevent pollution or fumes from other vehicles building up inside your vehicle?

I only really use it to cool the car down faster with the AC on a real hot day or if I visibly see pollution or fumes spewing from something ahead of me... If Im driving normally, whether its in the suburbs in light traffic or on a highway in major traffic... If the windows arent open I just have it in fresh air mode... And if im using the heat or AC for extended periods... again "Fresh Air Mode"... I've only ever used recirculate for really short periods (10-15 minutes) and at the times I said above.. (cool car down quicker, or if i see visible pollution)

This article was saying to use recirculate when your in traffic or on the highway or at stoplights behind cars... basically to prevent the pollution from other vehicles from rising inside of your vehicle? So by me just keeping my car in "fresh air mode" all the time even when I'm in traffic on a highway... Am i doing something detrimental to my health that could be avoided by using recirculate air more?

Here is what ChatGPT told me

Beginning Chat GPT- [You are doing the "right thing" for air freshness and alertness, but you are leaving yourself exposed to a lot of invisible "junk" in traffic.

The fix: Don't feel like you have to leave it on forever. Just tap that Recirculate button whenever you see brake lights. Once the traffic clears and you're moving at speed again, switch back to Fresh Air to flush out the cabin.

Think of it like a "shield" you raise when things get crowded and lower when you have breathing room!]
End ChatGPT

I know this question is ridiculous lol. Just wondering your opinion..

And what do you do? How often do you use it? Should we all be using it more? Or am I already doing the right thing?

sorry if the question has been asked on her before just wondering if you personally eat snacks.

And what is your eating window like? 1 hour a day? what time of day for you?

I only use it to cool the car down quickly on a hot day or to avoid visible pollution or fumes ahead of me... And i never really leave it on for more than 5-10 minutes.... Could I be avoiding alot more pollution by using it more often? Or does that even matter? I tend to overthink things lol

As far as like driving in normal traffic? Am I supposed to using the recirculate air button in normal every day traffic on the highway or normal traffic in the suburbs?

Like next week I'm driving from Milwaukee Wisconsin up to Minneapolis Minnesota. I will be doing some highway driving through Wisconsin, ,Michigan and Minnesota... I usually would never think to turn the recirculate air button on just because I'm on a highway in traffic. I would usually just have "fresh air mode" turned on with either the AC or Heat on! Or have neither on and just the fresh air mode blowing outside air on me, regardless of if im in traffic or not.... WITHOUT recirculate on. I almost always keep it off with fresh air mode on (ac, heat or just fresh air)

I know i typed a little more than i needed to there but do my questions make sense?

Basically, in a nutshell..... I drive often.... Sometimes in basic light suburban traffic and often in heavier traffic on highways or roadways. But I only use Recirculate for cooling my car down quickly while the AC is on or avoiding clear and visible pollution (fumes or smoke, etc)... Otherwise I almost ALWAYS have my windows down or "FRESH AIR MODE" selected without recirculation.

Was reading an article about using the recirculate air option while driving. I tend to over think things but now it has me wondering If i am constantly breathing in polluted air from traffic and would be avoiding alot of it if I used recirculate more often... But that isnt healthy either right? Leaving it on recirculate for long periods of time isnt great either, correct?

I am supposed to be clicking the recirculate button when I'm in basic traffic and heavy traffic? I almost always have my windows down or just "Fresh Air Mode selected" blowing outside air on me or "conditioned air" on me.. (Heat, AC)

I only really use the recirculate button for short periods of time , usually 5-10 minutes or less and that isn't very often that i even do that. I only use it maybe a handful of times in summer when I turn the the Air Conditioning on when first entering my car in order to cool the car down quicker on a very hot day and then turn it off when the car has cooled and go back to fresh air mode with AC on... Or I will turn it on if I clearly see smoke or some type of fumes ahead to prevent them from entering......then I turn it back off and back to "fresh air mode" once I pass the visible fumes... If i smell something bad though and didnt see any visible smoke or fumes, whats the point of turning on recirculate? The smell is already in the car, right?

But as far as like driving in normal traffic? Am I supposed to using the recirculate air button in normal every day traffic on the highway or normal traffic in the suburbs?
