I'm 22F and finally had a my right medial meniscus repaired after almost 10 years of injury! The surgery went well and I'm almost a week out. Surgeon's recovery protocol: partial weight bearing and no forced flexion past 90 degrees or squats for 6 weeks.

Swelling is low, pain is very manageable and my week 0-3 exercises are a piece of cake (even full leg raises). I met with my PT 4 days post surgery and she seemed pretty optimistic about my recovery given my quad strength and 0 degree extension thus far, however she seemed rather adamant that I would be on crutches for the full 6 weeks.

Is there any chance I'll be able to get off crutches ahead of the 6 week mark?

*Also! I'm already getting back pain from lying down all day! Any tips?*
