All organised religions are overrated
I’ve had this thought for the longest time. For background, i was born and raised in one of the biggest religion. That being said i enjoyed reading about theology, yes its a past tense, not anymore. My conclusion so far: religions were created by men to control how we act, dress and mostly women accordingly to their times. Most of them are centuries years old thus not relevant anymore.
Brings me to believe that we should all collectively repent our sins and nurture mother nature (planet earth) as it is the only place that can give us life. We are the absolute worst when it comes to giving back to nature. We slayed animals till the point of extinction, we’ve forcibly displaced them and drove them away from a place they’ve called homes for Millenium. Instead of worship some illusions of god in the sky, why dont we worship the planet that has given us oxygen, water and food for survival. Not only that, she has given us medicine for various diseases.
“Oh but god created planet earth” so what? More reasons for us to repent and fix her even if its too late now. If you worship your god so much, the creator of earth, why dont you pay more respect to his creation that was engineered to give ud everything we need to survive?
