Hi, just curious about your honest opinions.

For context, I’m a Filipina working abroad in a demanding field (healthcare, but not nursing), and I’ve noticed I tend to connect more with people who also have intense careers (e.g., law, finance, etc.).

For Filipino men:
Do you find women with high-pressure careers intimidating or attractive?
Does it affect how you approach or treat them in relationships?
What matters more to you—career or personality?

Genuinely curious to hear different perspectives. Thanks!

Hi everyone, just looking to hear different perspectives.

I had the opportunity to start IM residency in a tertiary hospital, but chose to pursue the UK pathway instead and am currently working here.

So far it’s been a good experience and I’ve been learning a lot. Just wanted to ask those who have taken a similar route, or those who trained in the Philippines:

- What has your experience been like in terms of career development and opportunities?

- Any insights or advice you wish you knew earlier?

Would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks!
