So, my university uses Handshake as a site to find jobs/internships. I got an invite from the actual Handshake website a little while ago to start as an AI trainer. I have seen some people say that they got scammed from Handshake as an AI trainer, BUT it seems like they were invited through their email, not the actual website itself. I'm just a little hesitant because this would be my first remote work, and they are asking for identification as a confirmation before I start working. It is listed as a fellowship, so there's flexibility with the hours that you choose to work.
I guess what I want to know is if anyone has worked through their university handshake and has actually been successful in it? This wouldn't be my main source of income, since I already have a job lined up for this summer, just a little extra money to go towards varying expenses.
