Building a research project around a theory: that most NYC residents know remarkably little about what's in their state, not because they're not interested, but because nobody has done a good job telling them.

A few examples of what I mean:

- There are over 140 wineries in the Finger Lakes

- The Adirondack Park is larger than Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, and Glacier combined
