New here and new hair

So… I’ve always had straight hair.
About a month ago I washed my hair and for some reason I thought “ let’s scrunch it when wet”.
And behold…. I had waves…. I’ve wanted non straight hair for my entire life.
I’m almost 44 years old, so it could be hormonal. Also had a son 11 years ago.
So I hyperfocussed and bought every curly thing I could find🙈😅 so I’m now the proud owner of 3 entire collections of curly and wavy shampoos, gels, creams, mousses and oils🤣🤣🤣
As my husband says “you can’t just buy one thing, can’t you. If you like something you just have to buy everything”. 😇

I went to a curly salon a few days ago and she told me my hair might change again and couldn’t guarantee it would hold.
Also, I’m not as good as she is with making waves.
But so far I’m happy with my hair. Hope to find a routine that works for me.
I have added some pictures. Also of my hair before. The one with the red floral shirt is at the curly salon.

Hope to learn from you all so I can enjoy my hair even more ❤️

So sad I’m not as good as the hairdresser.

Went to a curly hairsalon for the first time since discovering I have wavy hair, 4 weeks ago.
She told me she couldn’t promise me anything, cause I showed her pictures of my hair before which was straight.
I was so happy with the end result. She had to cut a lot because it was dead. But it looked amazing.
The pictures with the red shirt are after the salon visit. This morning I refreshed it with water, like she told me. And it looks nothing like what she did. The one with the green shirt is how it looks now. I’m so sad. Hope I will be better at styling with time.
And otherwise it’s just not meant to be. 😅
