Hey guys,

Just finished this Radian Model 1 Full Auto build and wanted some opinions. These are the following stats:

  • Ergonomics: 72.3
  • Accuracy: 2.39 MOA
  • Vertical Recoil: 53
  • Horizontal Recoil: 158
  • Muzzle Velocity: 837 m/s
  • Fire Rate: 800 rpm

Pretty happy with how it turned out, especially the ergo and recoil. Is this a decent meta-ish build or are there better mods/parts I should swap in?

Would love to hear your thoughts — roast it, rate it, or suggest improvements!

Hi everyone,

I've been working security in the UK for just over 4 years now, mostly on sites, retail, and events. A lot of it is static standing, foot patrols on mixed terrain (concrete, gravel, grass, mud, etc.), and I'm out in all weathers – rain, wind, occasional snow, and hot summers.

I've been using Magnum boots the whole time and they've been decent and reliable, but after 4 years my feet and lower back are really starting to feel it. I regularly do 12-hour shifts and sometimes longer, and by the end of the day the foot fatigue and pain is getting pretty bad.

I'm looking for boots that can genuinely handle long hours with better cushioning and support to reduce standing pain. Key things I need:

  • Excellent comfort for 12+ hours on my feet (good insoles, cushioning, arch support)
  • Tough enough for work but not overly heavy/stiff
  • Waterproof and breathable (all-weather UK conditions)
  • Good grip on mixed terrain (wet concrete, mud, grass, etc.)
  • Preferably side-zip or easy on/off for practicality
  • Ankle support without being too restrictive

Budget-wise I'd like to stay around £100-£180 if possible, but I'm willing to stretch if something is genuinely worth it.

Has anyone in security, facilities, or similar long-standing roles found a pair that actually made a difference to foot pain?

Any real-world experiences would be massively appreciated. Thanks!

(Also happy to hear insole recommendations if the boot itself is solid but could use better inserts.)
