Prosthesis Removal
Has anybody had to have a prosthetic removed because of infection? Wondering how the six month waiting period works with just a spacer. Have had over 20 surgeries since the early '80's, so have dealt with many problems and recoveries. This particular recovery is, I assume, going to be different. Any advice or just experiences would be appreciated. Just saw doctor and had CT Scan yesterday (Friday) and surgery is on Tuesday.
