Not sure if im going mad, please help! Just purchased a 63kwh Ariya Engage (not enabled!) with 16,000 miles on the clock. I took it for it first charge yesterday as I’m waiting for my home charger to be installed and at 80% charge my estimated range was 268 miles which exceeds the 251 miles a 100% battery at 63kW should be able to do as far as I can see.
Being the first day, I then spent a lot of the evening driving around town. I drove a total of 48.1 miles at an average of 3.3m/kwh (I even reset all of the statistics to ensure I was capturing a clean test) and by the end of the drive, still had 63% of the battery, so I only used 17% of the battery. Now my math may be wrong on this but that indicates to me that my maximum range on a full charge would be 311 miles which is what you get out of the 87 kW battery, isn’t it?
Even now as it sat on the drive, it’s showing 62% battery available with an estimated range of 193 miles
