My Dad, running from a blast charge he set to help villagers build a well -1970
I might have the year wrong. My dad served in the Army during the Vietnam war and after he completed his tours he decided to stay in country and help local civilians with various infrastructure projects. In this photo he placed a shaped charge that he then set off with a claymore and ran like hell. His project was to help a small local village dig water wells.
