I’m going to Italy with family in September and will be getting there a couple days before the rest of the group and wanted to do Cinque Terre during that time before we meet up in Florence(as the rest of the group wasn’t overly interested in Cinque Terre). I wanted to stay in one of the cities. Was thinking Vernazza so far. Anyone have any insight on this? My flight gets into Pisa around 10AM and I was thinking of storing my bags in a locker or some kind of secure option for a few hours to see the tower and walk around Pisa a bit and then head to Vernazza(bc check in times are usually after 3pm anyways). I will be alone as well during this part of the trip so any tips on things to do or areas to avoid alone? Are the trains ok to do with luggage alone or should I try to see if I could find a private car company? Was thinking of doing some group tours if I can find some around Vernazza but I did want to visit some of the other Cinque Terre cities and do a hike too if possible.
