Rural carrier here. I have been on my route for 4 years and it is a fairly difficult one with the only real perk to the route being a Monday off. This was well known in the office when I bid so naturally most people didn’t want it. Now management is trying to redo the entire office’s day off formula basing it off of seniority. I will no doubt lose my Monday off leaving me with a terrible route and having to reschedule my entire life around this. I have another job that I do strictly on Mondays. That cannot change. Is this even allowed or can I grieve this nonsense if it’s not nationwide?
