I would like to read other opinions on this. I haven't watched the movie Delicatessen yet because I'm in the research phase (to see if there's anything in it that will make me sick, like it has happened to me before), so I've been thinking about this from the point of view of someone who hasn't seen the movie yet, maybe if I watch it I'll realize that these two characters have no actual similarities, but based on what I've seen about the film Delicatessen and what I remember of Hotel Transylvania, there are at least some coincidences between them besides they being both French.
