I made for myself an image display daemon, that i can config to either be a wallpaper or a window, and change the image either based on wait interval, real time, or never. It support shaders for transitioning images or just the image being static. A friend ask me for it so i decided to continue it a little, fixed some issues and make it a aur repo.
For the demo, i decided to use a shader for each image but you don't have too.
The window showing and editing the windows/wallpaper is just a small quickshell script, using the IPC of wallerd. If you wanna read more check the github https://github.com/Remi-Avec-Un-I/wallerd
