Hot spots return, and a new relapse down the rabbit hole.

Guys, this will be my first post here (and hopefully my last too) and I'll be as objective as possible.

In February 2025, when I was 21 years old (a year and three months ago), I started having 24/7 fasciculations in my right triceps. The first neurologist I saw at the beginning of the symptoms (I don't know why, but to me this wasn't normal at all) didn't even do any physical tests and stated that it was just fasciculations, that I shouldn't worry. In the meantime, I discovered what BFS was and went to another neurologist who did the physical tests and told me that I had hyperflexia, but it was common for my age (22 years old) and for someone with GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder), and stated that I didn't need to do an EMG, also ruling out that it could be ***.

Meanwhile, the fasciculations in my right triceps stopped for a while and then returned, but always in the exact same spot (right triceps), never affecting other muscles (I get fasciculations all over my body, in every muscle you can imagine, but always intermittently in the right triceps).

This week I had a relapse because my right triceps started fasciculating again, and this time the anxiety kicked in again. I researched it and found a news article about a neurologist who had *** and whose initial symptoms began with fasciculations in his left shoulder 4 years before the diagnosis (the article says that it later spread to the right shoulder and other parts of the body, in addition to other symptoms, but it doesn't say how they gradually appeared over the 4 years).

My point is that until now I had accepted that I had SFB, but after reading the article, I'm no longer completely sure and I'm starting to create negative scenarios. My head is spinning because I haven't had an EMG done, unlike many reports on forums (my neurologist even asked if I wanted to have an EMG, but said it wasn't advisable given my age and because of altered results that might not be related to the condition). Could someone advise me on what to do, or offer some comfort?

PS: Up until now, I haven't experienced tremors, slurred speech, or obvious muscle weakness (in December I had started working out again and was lifting normal weights for someone my size and age).

PS2: I don't know what's considered BFS, but I remember that since adolescence, I had muscle fasciculations lasting a few seconds that would disappear and then reappear on another random day in the same format, but for me, it started intermittently in February 2025.
