I just launched KeepMePosted Platipus on iPhone, alongside the Android version.

The app tracks slow-moving topics for you. You create a topic in plain language, choose a cadence, and it sends a short source-backed update when something meaningful changes.

I am trying to figure out which positioning is clearest:

  1. Google Alerts, but smarter

  2. AI topic tracking for things you do not want to check manually

  3. Set a topic once. Get updates when something meaningful changes.

Use cases I am testing:

- AI/product launches

- EU AI Act or regulation updates

- company/earnings news

- sports transfer rumors

- local issues

- court cases or legal updates

I would love feedback on the positioning and first-use flow.

I just launched KeepMePosted and I am looking for feedback on the first-use flow.

The app is for tracking slow-moving topics. You create a topic in plain language, choose how often it should be checked, and the app sends a short source-backed update when something meaningful changes.

Good test topics could be:

- OpenAI / Anthropic / Google model releases

- EU AI Act updates

- a company or earnings topic

- a sports transfer rumor

- a local issue

- a court case or legal update

What I would love feedback on:

  1. Is creating the first topic clear?

  2. Does the first update feel useful?

  3. What topic would you personally track?
