So im a Ch-47F (15U) mos thinking of transferring to the GA Air National Guard, I already did my 5/6 years initial contract ETS April 2027 with 2 year left of IRR after my 1st contract. I called the Air guard recruiter and he said if I wanted to work with the air guard I can re up but will get no bonus just because i need to finish the rest of my IRR, so I was just wondering is that true? That is the first time I heard about it.

My 2nd QS being the career, im getting my A n P with the goal of working for major. what would be the best mos to get as a maintenance to help with my career with the minimal effect on body if i decided to reup with the air guard, give me 5 if possible

so im currently attending USAA doing the online ca101 and ca102. my goal is to get this done ASAP so I can attend the transitional week this up coming month to attend the in person 6 months program. so for everybody that attended this school and have taken the 2 online modules on choose aerospace. what was your experience during the transitional week
