Ha…. funny how I/ we go out thrifting for cool pieces of glass to only discover there’s been one hiding in plain sight for 20 years.

I only got my 365 and 395 torches about 4 months ago and I’ve done the sweep of the house in the dark to see what or if anything glowed….. a uranium epergne, a uranium bridal basket, a bunch of manganese glass. Got the Tiffin amberina twisted stem comport last month thinking this was my first cadmium piece. And just last night I did another sweep of the house and whamo another piece of cadmium glass thats been sitting there for 20 years. One of 7 pieces of different coloured cut glass ‘diamonds’ in rainbow colours that we have arranged on a small metal tree. What’s intriguing is that in daylight the red glass ‘diamond’ has the same depth of colour on all facets yet shine the 365 and it’s yellow on one side and red on the other.
