I am trying to assess how much I need to shift the lenses of a telescope so that the focal point in the z axis stays at the same point with a defocused wavefront. Is there an easy way to find what this shift in focal length is analytically? I have the OPD map of the wavefront so would it be best to import into Zemax or similar?
