Struggling with cron jobs, SOS

Hi all, I’ve been using agents for about a month now and everything has been fantastic apart from cron jobs.

I was mostly sold on the dream of having an agent work behind the scenes, constantly coming up with new ideas, questions to ask, etc. but I must be setting it up wrong.

For example, I want my agent to passively do research for my short film. I’d love for it to suggest set design / props based on the time period, or suggest new ideas, ask clarifying questions randomly, but for the most part it will just repeat the same message to me over and over and barely escape the initial prompt.

Does anyone have a good YouTube video or tip for creating cron jobs that really let the agent come to life and be innovative?

Anyone have a good Discord call setup? Building a therapist!

Currently working on building out a new profile that will act as a therapist (sad, I know) and will be entirely dedicated to building out a psychological assessment of me, my day to day life, and helping me to improve.

I’m attempting to set up Elevenlabs with an API Key, but I’m not sure the best way to go about transcription. Is using Whisper locally fine to plug into an 11 api key? Ideally I want something that’s not awkward or janky, cutting me off or taking 35 seconds to reply.

Just curious if anyone has a setup they would be willing to share!

Is it good practice to read in noisy environments?

If this is not the correct place to post, please point me in the right direction!

I recently started reading again after a long hiatus. Probably 10+ years, and I’m now in my 20s. My reading speed and comprehension has without a doubt suffered a great deal of erosion with my screen usage / dopamine addiction, but I’ve been getting it back!

I’ve been going to a coffee shop to get a coffee and read / journal in the mornings just to get away from my apartment and gaming setup. But recently there’s been lots of music and conversation, so much so that my noise cancelling headphones are defeated. I struggle to stay focused, and find myself rereading lines constantly.

Can anyone let me know if this type of reading is worth it? Will practice eventually allow me to tune everything out? Or am I clearly just in need of a quieter environment? My goal is to be able to read anywhere and stay focused.

Thanks!
