Lady slippers flowering in yard!
I planted Cypripedium acaule bulbs 2 years ago in my front yard. The area has become a mini pine barren from us keeping all the pine needles and such.
They grew nicely last year, survived a very cold winter, and now we’ve got flowers coming in!
I got them from an Etsy store selling seed-grown stock. (I made sure of that)
I’m really excited to see these first flowers! Looks like of the 7 plants growing, 4 are growing flowers.
I’ll repost once they’ve opened.
