I started Lexapro almost 2 weeks ago and about a week in I developed the constant urge to pee. The first 3 days or so when it started I would wake up multiple times throughout the night. I went to urgent care and my urine came back all good. Right now I am only on 5 mg, and I’m worried that when I go up 10 mg it will get worse. I have reached out to my doctor, but he believes that frequent urination isn’t a side effect of lexapro. I am wondering if others who had the side effect at 5mg then went up to 10 mg if it worsened?
