If We take lightning Choi's Infinite potential talk with Jake kim seriously and not just Glaze for Gapryong's genes then Kitae's path is most likely adapting and getting stronger as the fight goes on thats why he is still looking for his limit.
If the Infinite potential talk is true then theoritically he and by extension Jake and Gapryong should have no growth limit.and another posible thing from this chapter we came to know is if 2 people have similar traits they can study each other's path and implement them in their own path so maybe Gitae also studied Gapryong's path and implemented some similar things in his own
