Adding to favorites

Hey.

I have been on Preply for less than 1 month. I have one subscribed student and I've done a few lessons with them. Besides that, nothing, except some notifications that students added me as their favorite. I get these every day. I send them a message, however, nobody replies. Only 1 student replied but they didn't book the lesson yet.

My question, for the *experienced* Preply tutors: does any of these people, who added you as their favorite, ever books your lesson? 🤣 What do you do when you receive this notification, do you message them?

Because to me it looks like a window shopping and the illusion of endless choice for the students.😅

Hey, I have a question, how long did it take for you to get your first student and your first booking? I've been active for over 2 weeks now, and apart from two students who marked me as a favorite, nothing is happening. I have about a hundred reviews, maybe a little less. I'm a professional teacher, I have several years of experience, a diploma and a TESOL certificate. Profile picture okay, video stable, professional, nice pronunciation, natural, detailed. Specific niche. Affordable price. I'm not a native speaker, though, I see that many non-native speakers have a lot of clients. I don't know what I should work on, I know that 0 reviews discourage people, and that starting is a short. What is your experience?

I have received a few notifications from the students who added me as their favorite. I sent them messages(generic ones, asking about their levels and offering help). What did you do? How was your experience with students who added you to their favorites, and what was the next step? I have a lot of experience in teaching but being new on Preply makes me so confused.😅😅😅
