How are you guys actually managing your rentals day-to-day?
I feel like every software/tool out there is either insanely expensive or overbuilt for what I need. I’ve looked at a bunch of them and can’t justify paying monthly just to track basic stuff.
Right now I’m basically running everything out of Excel — rents, expenses, tenant info, etc. It works, but it’s clunky and easy to mess up as things scale.
Curious what everyone else is doing:
- Are you just sticking with spreadsheets?
- Using any lightweight / cheaper tools?
- Or is there something actually worth paying for?
Would love to hear what’s working in the real world.
