After reading the comments on my previous post, I understood that purchasing the 2012 Swift Diesel may not be a good decision due to the very high kilometres driven.

The same dealer currently has two more options available:

1. 2016 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga ZXI Petrol

   - Single owner

   Asking price 6.2 lakhs 130,000 Odo

2. 2015 Honda Amaze

   - Single owner (Price not mentioned yet)

My budget is around ₹4 lakhs, and I’m looking for a reliable used car with reasonable maintenance costs.

Which of these two options would be the better choice in terms of:

- Reliability

- Maintenance

- Fuel efficiency

- Resale value

- Overall value for money

Also, what would be a fair price range for these cars in the current used-car market?

I’m planning to buy my first used car with a budget of around ₹4 lakhs.

The seller hasn’t mentioned the final asking price yet.

What do you think would be a fair market price for this car in 2026?

Also, is buying a Swift diesel with 2.55 lakh km a good idea or too risky for maintenance?
