Anyone else find it almost impossible to win if they miss turn 1 Buddy-Buddy/Lillie's Determination?

I've been preparing for Utrecht regional a lot over the last couple of weeks and one thing has become clear: If I miss both Lillie's determination and Buddy-Buddy poffin and my opponent doesn't, the game may as well be over.

I'm playing Blaziken Pult which runs 4 of each, and 4 ultra ball to get to Meowth, of the 22 games where I whiffed all 4 of Ultra Ball, Meowth, Buddy-Buddy Poffin and Lillie's Determination and my opponent didn't - I lost 19 of them.

Does anyone find this a bit ridiculous? There's literally nothing I can do, it's completely luck of the draw what is in my opening hand.

Just to preface, I've been playing WoW most of my life (since TBC) and it's embarrassing to see just how much Blizzard is trying to wring every last penny out of players right now.

Expansions are getting shorter so I have to pay for them more often. OK, does that mean they're cheaper? Of course not. Well if the expansions are shorter and the same price, surely the patches should have more content and have less bugs. 12.0.5 is currently one of the buggiest patches in recent memory and still hasn't fixed bugs from the expansion launch. Midnight itself feels essentially like War Within 2.0, the average player is doing the same stuff they did 2 years ago just with a different skin on it.

Meanwhile, the cash shop is of course stocked to the brim with stuff to buy, remember housing? That major expansion feature Blizzard love to use in their marketing? Well we've finally released a new house model, to unlock it you only need to pay £50+. Funny how the cash shop is never buggy as hell and yet I can't transmog anything without my screen flashing black and having to reload the entire game.

Then there's basic services that cost an extortionate amount for what you're asking, how the fuck is transferring a character to another realm £17? A faction change is £20? This is all automated, no ones on the other end dragging and dropping my characters from one realm to another, what the hell am I paying for?

And during all this, Blizzard has the gall to raise my sub fee? Really? Am I not giving you enough money? It's a joke, this no longer feels like a living world, it feels like a cash shop with a world attached to it.
