Sherry is one of the few categories where you can conclusively identify a wine in a blind tasting if you know what to look for — and Palo Cortado specifically is the one that trips everyone up.

Finally cracked open the Famille Moussé “Les Vignes de Mon Village” — 100% Meunier. Been curious about this bottle for a while. Famille Moussé is a grower out of Cuisles in the Vallée de la Marne, and this is their flagship cuvée — a zero-dosage perpetual blend of Pinot Meunier going back to 2014. No Chardonnay, no Pinot Noir. Just Meunier doing its thing on rare green illite clay soil.
