SimpleUI/Appearance Setup
Finally think I got my setup nailed down. I just wanted to add a few notes for other people wanting to utilize both of these plugins.
- After uploading Appearance, I copied my background image into multiple folders in koreader files, but when on the device I could NOT find the images, or even the folder! It was driving me absolutely nuts! Turns out I needed to go to File Browser > Settings > Show hidden files. After that, the “Screensavers” folder appeared in my library and I could assign my background.
- I modified the default Quotes file in SimpleUI, and as you can see, I have some rather lengthy quotes. I initially had quotes at the top of the screen, and liked the look of that, but finding scaling and settings that would allow the full quote without cutting off other modules was too tricky. So I moved it to the bottom and scaled everything down a little to allow more space at the bottom. And this way, even if it’s a shorter quote the other modules stay put - no shifting with the length variance.
