So I am on chapter ten of my novel (literally so excited) and I finally had the mc and the love interest start dating. They went on a date in chapter seven and another in chapter nine but I didn't have them say "We are bf and gf" at that point. Each chapter is about 5-7k words and they have been pining since chapter two. So is chapter ten a good placement for their "we are officially a couple" statement? is it too soon? is it too late? Lemme know please
