Are oranges a good choice for an indoor plant?

Sorry if this isn't allowed, but I've always been curious about having an orange tree, since it's my favorite fruit. I'm technically in the right USDA zone for being able to grow oranges outside, but barely (Zone 8, near Zone 7; on a cold year an orange tree would probably be toast), but in practice indoors would be best. But what does that actually look like day to day? How fast is growing speed? Is it actually reasonable for an inexperienced plant keeper?

Setup (Hopefully) Improved

I posted here for help a little while ago and made some changes. My little guy has been moved to a smaller pot, relocated to a sunnier window and the new pot now has some perlite layers. Now I have to figure out what I’m going to do with the big pot…
