What games did you find too complex to play two handed solo?

Long time board game and solo board game player.

I especially like "puzzly" games and card games. Spirit island, AH: LCG, Star Trek captains chair, Deckers, Elder Scrolls are some of my recent plays.

But I just bought Primal the awakening and found it very hard to play two handed solo. You have to use two characters even playing solo. Governing two hands of cards each with triggers that can be played on the other players turn whilst also managing the monster who reacts to your card plays and terrain that can trigger at various points became a bit too much.

I normally play two handed solo without much problem but this was the first game I had to stop, set up again and then play much more slowly than I would play any other game

Just curious if others had ever found certain games "too much" to play two handed solo?
