So I took my car to a dealer for the recall. I talked to 2 separate dealers and one said they never heard of the Android 14 update and do not know how to do it but they can do the recall. I called another dealer and asked about both and they stated they can do both. Before I scheduled, I specifically asked are they definitely able to update from Android 12 to Android 14 and they reassured that they can. I picked up the car after I got the call saying it is done and I asked if it was updated to Android 14 and they also said yes. I got there, picked up and update wasn’t completed. I talked to the Service Advisor and they never heard of the update and not sure who told me it’s possible. I told her that the person that made the appointment reassured me. She then called her Service Manager, and he never heard about it. I took the car home because there was no point of going back and forth because they never heard from Acura about that update. I called Acura corporate and spoke with someone and they never heard of the update either and asked where did I see the information about the update, which obviously is not on their website but is everywhere else.
Any advice on what I can do because yes, the recall was completed, but I was hoping to also get Android 14. I’m in North NJ for reference.
