I’m a Brazilian girl really keen to travel to Australia and experience all its unique charm. I’ve been part of a few communities and have already learned some pretty cool things, like the national holiday ANZAC Day, that I definitely shouldn’t mistake Ned Kelly’s iconic helmet for a burqa haha, and recently a mate introduced me to Vegemite. I’m still trying to wrap my head around it, it’s like a very distinctive kind of spread, right?
So, dear locals, I’d love to hear some fun facts about your country! Thanks to this awesome community, I already know there’s more to Australia than just kangaroos.
I don’t have a travel itinerary yet, so I’d really appreciate recommendations from any region, your favourite places, must see spots, top cafés or restaurants, and where I can have a truly local, fun, and authentically Aussie experience.
