No more IEMs for me
I have been eyeing to buy my first IEM for the last few months and decided to go with Red Lion and after waiting for a month they got a price hike and at same time faced a shortage of funds so I didn't buy.
Then i thought zero 2 is a better choice now as it has wider soundstage n imaging which will be better for Valorant but even they were out of stock.
And now they are both in stock and i have enough money but there is no point now in buying any because from the last few days my ears are ringing constantly and it gets worse after i use earphones.
I researched about it and found out its called Tinnitus and there isn't any cure, for some it stays for few months and for some it stays for more than 10yrs
The only thing you can do is ditch earphones completely, don't take stress n get better sleep and see if that makes it better. So no more earphones/iems for me now 🥲
For all the fellow listeners out there take breaks for 10-15 min every 1-2 hrs and let your ears rest, also don't listen on high volume for long duration so you don't have to face this
And hope it will get better and i can enter this hobby too ✨
