Speaker improvement

i have my Yaris 2nd gen, and i recently fixed the AC. though the audio system is a bit trashy, i have the TNS510 audio unit, and id like to improve the speakers to have a but more clean bass and less distorting.

i dont know what is recommended but ive looked at pioneer and caliber speakers.

can someone please help me out? also, how do i replace them, ive seen they use ribbits that you have to drill out (which i can perfectly do, no worries) its just what do i need to reattach the new speakers?

thanks in advance

Fixed my 15 year old yaris AC. The garage told me "just buy a new car"

So, last summer i was driving on the highway and heard a very loud BANG... apparently my compressor broke, and it broke BAD! it literally grenaded!

so my official toyota garage told me my system is contaminated and is unfixable and i should or buy a new car, or replace everything for 5000 euros. me and my dad decided we wouldnt let that happen so we checked out the car ourselves. we saw this hole indeed. we understood that there indeed could be contamination in the system. however, when we checked the filter dryer located in the condensor (the white bag), only on the compressor's side it was quite black. so, we decided to replace both the condensor and dryer, and also the expansion valve just in case. (the garage couldve checked that dryer too, couldve saved a lot of money!!) we knew the evaporator was safe since the dryer was clean white there.

then, when we examined the compressor and how it failed. the reason is, one of the seals just malfunctioned, oil leaked out... and the compressor ran dry and welded itself together i guess.

the good news, inside the compressor you can see in the images, at the side of the lines the remaining oil is bright yellow. and on the valve too! i had extremely much luck, because my system was superclean, nothing came out when flushing it 😊 and i also had lick my pulley didnt lock. it couldve done waay more damage than it did!

long story short, always get a second opinion! i fixed the car for 450 euro's (recharge included) while the garage asked 5000. one would just give up the car for no reason while i love my yaris.

its an XP90 (NSP90) 73kW (100Pk) dual vvti 3.33L 120k kilometers on it, thats way too low to just throw it away just becaise of AC. but its a black car so yeah its a portable Sauna at summer. 😅
