Did Gideon? [discussion]
In Ntn, did >!Gideon's "speed holes" heal after Nona kissed her?!< From what I have seen in the community there seems to be a consensus that >!the kiss returned the part of Gideon's soul that was still attached to Harrow's body!<. My reasons to think that maybe >!her wounds were healed!< are:
>!If, as is widely believed, Gideon died as a child in the gas leak that killed the other 200 children in the Ninth house, then whatever damage she sustained at the time was fully healed by the time the story starts, otherwise she would have terrible brain and likely lung injuries. But she is completely uninjured from that event (at which point her soul was whole), unlike at the end of Gtn (where all or most of her soul was bound to Harrow's body and could not return to Gideon's).!<
