Dumped Litter of Kittens

Dumped Litter of Kittens

Looking for assistance on what I suspect are dumped kittens, I have been working on this all evening and want resources to outreach to about trapping them. I have contacted WA County, Feralcats, and Oregon Humane Society, and am posting here and WACO Reddit. Here are the details:

- I am not a veterinary professional, but I would gauge them between 12 and 16 weeks.

- I was able to capture one and am going to try to find appropriate care for it and foster/adopt potentially if I am able to, he would need to be neutered and a full checkup so any recommendations for clinics for a full workup would be most appreciated. My vet is a very busy appointment only location, and I would like to get him seen ASAP.

- The kitten I caught and what I could visually assess of the others is that they are not thriving, the others are very skittish and the one I got has warmed up but is pure skin and bones. I am lucky he came around and is friendly, but there are eye issues and they all appear to be malnourished. His fur and teeth are in decent condition and there is no ear tipping, so I do not think they are cats born in the wild. They are past the age to be weened so I do not believe there is a mother cat around and I do not think they are a community ferals that are taken care of. The area is very loud and if anything it seems as though they were dumped and scared.

- They appear to be living under the Safeway grocery store dumpsters and/or in some foliage right next to the store, but again, they seem sickly and not a taken care of feral colony, they are young and are not fixed. This is the Safeway location: 18425 NW West Union Rd Albertsons, Portland, OR 97229 and the dumpsters are on the left side of the store entrance, the one I caught almost went into the road that is an on ramp to the nearby main road, so I am concerned about the others as well.
