Streptocephalus siamensis: my next failure

Streptocephalus siamensis: my next failure

I am going to try these less common fairy shrimps. It's been difficult and expensive to get the traingle-shaped eggs. This was the last batch from a local vendor. I have no guarantee about the state of the cysts nor the number of them. They might hatch by tomorrow evening. Let's see what happens.

After three weeks, the few survivors have barely reached 0.2" long. They grow very slowly and though they seem bluish in the video, they are still almost transparent, so that it becomes really difficult to see them.
